Terms and Conditions
This website is owned, operated and made available by Tech Event Guide, a division of Napier Partnership Limited (“the company”). These terms and conditions apply to all websites operated by Tech Event Guide (“the websites”). Where dates and times are used, they refer to the date/time in England, and “working days” refers to complete weekdays (9am to 5pm) that are not public holidays in England.
1. Application of these conditions of use
By accessing or using any part of this website, you agree to be bound by the following conditions of use. If you do not wish to be bound by these conditions, you may not access or use this website. We may change these conditions at any time without any notice.
2. Copyright, database rights and Trademarks
Except where otherwise noted, Tech Event Guide owns the copyright of all the content of the sites web pages (including the design, text, graphics and arrangement) and the software used within the site. The intellectual property rights include copyrights and database rights to the information displayed as search or browse results extracted from this site.
All trademarks, product names and company names or logos cited anywhere on this site are the property of their respective owners.
3. Listing Period
The website automatically updates with new listings and paid-for enhancements to listings. There may be some delays in the new listings becoming available, but normally a listing will be available within a few minutes. Tech Event Guide is not responsible for any delays in listings appearing due to errors in entering information about the event.
Free listings will be displayed until the date of the event. After the event, free listings will not be displayed or returned as search results.
Paid-for listings can be purchased in blocks of one month (one month is defined as a calendar month). Once paid for, the listing period begins immediately. Paid-for listings will not be displayed after the day of the event, unless the listing allows for seminar materials to be uploaded, in which case they will only be displayed after the date of the event if materials have been uploaded. No credits or refunds will be given for paid-for listings that expire before the end of the paid period.
4. Payment, Currencies and Taxes
Payment is taken immediately for enhanced listings and adverts that are purchased through the website, irrespective of the length of time of the advertising period. All payments are taken in pounds sterling, and the credit card holder is responsible for all charges, including foreign exchange costs.
UK taxes, including VAT, are charged on all transactions, unless the Tech Event Guide has previously approved the account as being zero-rated for VAT. Customers outside of the UK that believe they are exempt from paying VAT should complete the relevant details on the registration form. The account must be approved by Tech Event Guide as being VAT-exempt before transactions without VAT can be carried out. Although Tech Event Guide will try to review all applications for VAT-exempt accounts within 2 working days, the company will not be liable for any delays in this process. The company will not offer any refunds of VAT for any completed transaction.

7. Removal of listings
Any listings deemed to be offensive, misleading or inappropriate to the website will be removed by Tech Event Guide. All decisions made by Tech Event Guide to remove listings are final.
8. Refunds Policy
Whilst we aim to provide the best possible service, it is possible that there will be short interruptions to the service. For all paid advertisements and paid listings we will only offer refunds if the operation of the website is interrupted for more than 48 hours. If the website operation is interrupted for a continuous period of more than 48 hours, we will offer a partial refund on request. The refund due will be paid within 30 days of the calendar month of the site failure or the date of refund request (whichever is later). You must claim a refund within 60 days of the interruption of the website. The refund will be calculated by taking the total number of hours of website downtime for all periods where the website operation is completely interrupted for more than 48 hours (“allowable downtime”). A pro-rata refund of the amount paid for that month will be calculated as the proportion of the total number hours in the month represented by the above allowable downtime.
Tech Event Guide will refund the cost of paid-for listings and adverts removed by the company. The amount refunded will calculated as a pro-rata proportion of the period paid for. In this case, Tech Event Guide may reduce the amount refunded by an administration fee of up to £200.00.
